Wanna see Wipeout 2097 on your Amiga? Read on.....
--------------------------------------------------

I received an interesting Statement from Digital Images today. It would
seem that the creators of the forthcoming SpaceStation 3000 have some
extremally ambicious plans for the future. They have plans to convert the
Excellent Wipeout 2097 and Tomb Raider 3 to the Amiga, now, your probably
thinking something along the lines of 'no-chance' at the moment.

However, maybe with your help the dream could be fulfilled, things at are
an extremally early stage and at the moment its only a plan. Read the
statement below from Digital Images, see what you think....

Statement from Digital Images.
------------------------------

Digital Images is a new games and software development company for the
Amiga. We aim to make things different and better for the Amiga. We have
our first originalstrategy business sim on the way, Space Station 3000.
After that, we intend to convert some of the PC's finest games to the
Amiga. The first 2 of which are Wipeout 2097 which is a brilliant 3D
racing game for the Amiga set in the future. The other one is Tomb Raider
3. Tomb Raider 3 isn't actually released yet, but we think that Amiga
owners should enjoy this fabalous game. The main problem is, the
companies that own the rights to these games need to be shown that there
is still a market for the Amiga, and within 18 months, that market will
start returning to a good strength.

The reason Myst and Quake were ported to the Amiga was because of hassling
from Amiga owners. ID Software (The copyright owners of Quake) and Cyan
(The copyright owners of Myst) thought that the Amiga died out at the end
of the Commodore era. That is, until illegal demo's of both of these games
appeared on the internet. These demo's soon got deleted from the internet
after came from both of the companies. But, the Amiga owners who had seen
them wanted the real thing. They hassled Cyan for Myst and ID for Quake.
This is where ClickBOOM stepped in and bought the licencing.

What I'm trying to say is, that you, as Amiga users need to hassle these
companies for these games. Only then, can we hope to succeed.

We would like you to hassle Psygnosis for the Amiga release of Wipeout
2097 and we want you to hassle EIDOS for the Amiga release of Tomb Raider 3.
