- Use the Page Up and Page Down keys to navigate up and down one screen
  at a time.
- Press Ctrl+Home to get to the top of a page, and Ctrl+End to get to
  the bottom.

In IE4.x or Netscape 4.x, load newsgroup headers quickly from your
browser
window by doing the following:

- Hit Ctrl+O, which will bring up the open page window.
- Type the following: news:"newsgroup name", (ex. news:alt.fan.starwars)
- Hit Enter. The newsreader for the application will download the
  headers for that particular newsgroup.

Most pop-up ads are Javascript applications. On higher versions of
Netscape, you can disable Javascript by going to the pull-down
Edit menu, selecting Preferences, then Advanced. On the Advanced
screen you can disable javascript and java support by unchecking
the appropriate box.
